Kick-off Workshop MuDak-WRM, Curitba 30.-01.11.2017

Following various project activities in Germany this year, at the end of October all Brazilian and German MuDak-WRM partners met for the kick-off workshop at a venue directly at the shore of Passauna reservoir near Curitiba. In three days of presentations, meetings, discussions, excursions and joint meals, everybody became acquainted with the colleagues abroad, the research catchment and the drinking water reservoir itself. The main output however was the definition of detailed road maps for measurement strategies, model fusion and data as well as information flow among sub-groups and for the entire project group. In addition, a remarkable number of seventeen Brazilian and German PhD students gave presentations about their current and planned contribution to the MuDaK-WRM project. The intensive collaboration and interaction between the PhD students was a major success of the meeting.
