Water Balance Modeling

The simulation of the water budget is based on, among other things, the spatially and temporally (long-term and seasonal) differentiated land cover as well as the development stage and the vitality of the vegetation. The aim of WP-2 therefore is to work closely with the other work packages to provide a practical and transferable tool for the simulation and forecasting of the water budget. The tool will be coupled with the management model and the model for flow and transport modeling. For this purpose spatially distributed LARSIM water budget models for the catchment areas of the selected reservoirs are built up.
