WP-6: In-Situ Sensing and Water quality

The work package WP-6 comprises the collection of measured data in the installed water bodies and their inflows with the following objectives: (i) to capture the vertical particle transport in the dense-weighted water body; (ii) to form a basis for processor-oriented modeling of the relevant storage and transformation processes and (iii) to provide ground truth data for the calibration and validation of the remote sensing data. In addition, concepts, methods and sensor systems, which can be integrated into the sensor web and thus be combined directly with the remote sensing data, are to be developed in the work package.
