The team of Prof. Hinz offers scientific expertise in the method development for automated image and signal processing. Of particular importance here is the continuation of the research and development in estimation and inversion processes for the determination of the state parameters of waters from multiscale and multitemporal hyperspectral data as well as in the underlying model formation. The IPF is based on long-standing fundamental and application-oriented research activities in the automatic image analysis of remote sensing data.
